In collaboration with the Italian Migration Studies Working Group at the University of California, Berkeley, and under the patronage of the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco is pleased to present La storia vergognosa, a documentary by Nella Condorelli.
"La Storia Vergognosa" is the story of Fiorella, a fourth generation descendant of a Sicilian family that emigrated to the American continent, and a renowned fashion model, who returns to Sicily to discover the reasons that forced her ancestors to leave with millions of Italians for an unknown land.
